Triad Muslim Center's Constitution
Article 1: Name and Purpose
The official name of the organization shall be Triad Muslim Center (TMC).
The purpose of the Mosque is to serve as a place of worship, community gathering, education, and charitable activities in accordance with Islamic principles.
The Mosque shall promote unity, spiritual growth, and social welfare among its members and the larger community.
Article 2: Governance and Administration
The Mosque shall be governed by a Board of Directors, consisting of elected and appointed members.
The Board shall oversee the management, finances, and operations of the Mosque.
A General Assembly of members shall be held annually to review activities, financial reports, and elect leadership.
The Board shall establish committees as needed to fulfill the objectives of the Mosque.
Article 3: Membership
Membership is open to all Muslims who adhere to the teachings of Islam and abide by the rules of the Mosque.
Members shall have the right to vote, participate in decision-making, and hold leadership positions.
Membership may be revoked if a member acts against the interests of the Mosque or Islamic principles.
Article 4: Religious and Educational Activities
The Mosque shall conduct daily prayers, Friday sermons, and religious gatherings.
Islamic education, including Quranic studies and religious teachings, shall be provided for children and adults.
The Mosque shall host interfaith and community outreach programs to promote understanding and cooperation.
Article 5: Financial Management
The Mosque shall be funded through donations, membership contributions, and fundraising activities.
All funds shall be used strictly for Mosque-related activities and expenses.
Financial records shall be maintained transparently, with annual audits and reports to the members.
Article 6: Code of Conduct
All members, visitors, and leadership shall conduct themselves with respect, honesty, and integrity.
Disputes shall be resolved amicably through Islamic guidance and community mediation.
Any form of discrimination, harassment, or misconduct shall not be tolerated.
Article 7: Amendments
This constitution may be amended by a two-thirds majority vote of the General Assembly.
Proposed amendments must be reviewed and approved by the Board before being presented for a vote.
